Established in 2000, the Lac Cardinal Regional Economic Development Board
is a regional municipal initiative of the Municipal District of Peace No.135, the Village of Berwyn, and the Town of Grimshaw.

These communities are centrally located in the Peace Region of Alberta, and provide a service and transportation hub to the surrounding municipalities, the northern Peace region and Grande Prairie.

Mission: to assist new and existing entrepreneurs in developing businesses in the Lac Cardinal Region.

The Lac Cardinal Regional Economic Development Board provides economic development services to the Municipal District of Peace No. 135, Town of Grimshaw and the Village of Berwyn, and to local and foreign investors who are looking to invest or start a business in the Lac Cardinal Region.
